so we spent all day driving looking for wildlife and we saw elk and big horn sheep. then we went to that greek restaurant again and my coffee fortune telling attempt showed like a clear bear track - no kidding i can even tell it was a black not a grizzly. i wonder if there is a chance of actually seeing one tomorrow on our way home. or maybe the coffee meant "you ll never see one"?

Go to the woods, and take some food with you - you will definitely see bears.
But, to be serious, you need a lot of luck to see one. They are afraid of humans.
We saw black bear munching on roots near highway in Kootanay Park (about 2 hours from Banff)
We saw so many different animals there - probably beacuse we were driving after the sunset, the time they go out to have dinner.

Yellowstone Park is a 100% chance place to see bears in wild.
