...there are lies that technically are not lies because nobody could be expected to believe them anyway. In Dilbert the examples were "I won't change anything without asking you first" and "I am not jelaous because of your new computer". For me such a thing that I often hear and that I often say is "Я никому не скажу" when being asked to keep a secret.
