ATA Conference
Nov. 10th, 2005 10:38 pm- not bad at all.
I met a lot of new people, some of them are really interesting.
Сегодня была на очень интересной лекции касательно self-marketing, не то чтобы что-то принципиально новое услышала, но сам лектор был замечательный. Из смешного:
"Well you know, we actually always welcome young professionals... Whatever you might think, we really do... Because you know... We are gonna die one day! And we still want the profession to stay".
Вероятно, баян:
"It's not eonugh to lay a golden egg, you've gotta sell it, too"
Corporate dinner at Moroccan restaurant - it was good. We actually met a really cool guy there named Casey. He was something like 22-23 year old and he was bright and interesting to talk to. (A funny fact: "So... your girlfriend - she's a native American, where did you guys meet?.. - Oh, in Berlin. In a Spanish class"). Bobb and Jon with whom I actually work were not bad also.
