Написала первое в своей жизни письмо в СМИ.

Выглядит оно так:

"Dear BBC Wildlife!

I was quite disappointed in the article about black bears (October issue). I am not even going to comment on the very idea of the article, because it is way too controversial for me to handle, however let me just say: using things like "Only three people have been killed by black bears in the eastern USA in 100 years" as a talking point is simply bad journalism (which I would never expect from a BBC magazine). There are very few bears left in the eastern USA and people hardly do any hiking or camping there. Try western USA and you'll get a whole different picture. Putting such a sentence in big letters in the article is misleading. Unless you live in the USA you won't even notice the catch and will probably read this as "Only three people have been killed by bears in the USA in the past 100 years" which is completely untrue. Referring to eastern states is simply irrelevant in this case. It is as if I said "Very few people drown in the ocean in Sahara desert". Regards, Olga Zamaraeva, Seattle, WA."
